Feature Guide

What eVA can do on your behalf.

This is the current list of actions eVA can take directly from a chat conversation. You don't configure anything — just ask. The more specific you are, the better the result.

Email

Notification email

Send a platform email

📨

eVA can send formatted emails from the platform — useful for summaries, reports, or sharing results from a session without you having to copy anything out.

Try asking

"Email me a summary of this conversation"

"Send Andy the task list we just created"

Authenticated email

Send from your address

✉️

This sends from your actual email address — the one your clients recognise. Supports attachments: paste or drop a file into the chat and it goes out with the email.

Attachments supported — paste or drop into chat

Try asking

"Send the proposal we drafted to john@company.com, from my email"

"Email the invoice with the PDF attached"

Scheduling & Reminders

Schedule wakeup

eVA sets her own alarm

eVA can schedule herself to wake up and resume a task at a specific time. Not a notification to you — she actually starts a new chat at the scheduled time and picks up where she left off.

Useful in /loop mode for monitoring tasks over time — check a build every 5 minutes, poll for a payment, follow up in 3 days.

Try asking

"Come back on Thursday and check if the invoice was paid"

"Follow up in 5 days if I haven't replied to this"

Reminders

Alert you at a specific time

🔔

Different from wakeup. A reminder fires an alert to your notification inbox at a set time. eVA doesn't do anything — she just makes sure you don't forget. Can be set with priority (Low, Medium, High) and optional notes.

Try asking

"Remind me to call Marcus at 3pm tomorrow"

"Set a high-priority reminder to invoice Axiom at end of month"

Notify user

Send a notification to anyone on the platform

📣

eVA can push a notification to any user's bell/inbox on the platform — immediately, with a severity level and an optional link to the relevant page. Useful for alerting team members without sending an email.

infosuccesswarningerror

"Notify Andy that the deployment is ready"

"Send a warning notification to the team about the server issue"

Research & Web

Web research — 6 modes

Search, scrape, screenshot, archive

🔎

The research tool has been rebuilt with six distinct modes. eVA picks the right one automatically based on what you're asking for.

search AI-synthesised answer

Perplexity reads multiple sources and gives you a coherent answer with citations. Best for research questions.

"What are the latest changes to Australian payroll tax thresholds?"

serp Raw Google results

Returns titles, snippets, and URLs from a Google search. Best when you want links, not a summary.

"Find all news articles about this company in the last month"

fetch Scrape a URL

Pulls the full text content from any public webpage. Best when you know the page you want.

"Pull the pricing from their website"

screenshot Capture a webpage

Takes a screenshot of any URL and returns it as an image. Useful for visual references or audit trails.

"Screenshot their homepage and save it"

wayback_check Find archived versions

Lists available Wayback Machine snapshots for any URL. Use this before wayback_fetch.

"What archived versions exist of that competitor's pricing page?"

wayback_fetch Read an archive

Retrieves the full content of a specific archived snapshot. Best for historical comparisons.

"What did their site say about pricing a year ago?"

Browser use — improved

Control a real browser

🖥️

Different from web research. Browser use runs a real Chromium browser — it clicks buttons, fills forms, logs into sites, navigates multi-step workflows, and extracts data from pages that require interaction. Use this when a site can't be scraped passively.

Try asking

"Log into that portal and download this month's statement"

"Fill in the contact form on their site with our details"

"Check if our listing on that directory is still current"

Accounting

Xero

Invoices and contacts from chat

💰

eVA is connected to Xero and knows your CRM clients, so you can reference them by name. Invoices can be created as drafts (you review before sending) or authorised immediately.

Create invoice

"Create a draft invoice for Axiom — $3,500, consulting retainer, due in 30 days"

List invoices

"Show me all unpaid invoices from last quarter"

Check payment status

"Has John Markovitch paid the last invoice?"

Search contacts

"Find the Xero contact for Drums for Schools"

Calendar

Google Calendar

Your calendar, from chat

📆

List events, create new ones, update existing ones, or delete them — all in plain English. Attendees can be added by email address. eVA will confirm what she's about to create before doing it.

"What's on my calendar tomorrow?"

"Add a meeting with Sarah next Thursday at 2pm"

"Move Friday's call to Monday at the same time"

"Cancel the 4pm meeting and send an update"

Email Management

Email routing

Control what the AI sees in your inbox

📥

The Customer State automation reads your emails to build customer context. Email routing controls which emails it reads, which it ignores, and which get linked to specific companies in your CRM. Rules run in priority order and support compound conditions.

Before adding or changing a rule, eVA simulates the full ruleset against your current configuration and tells you exactly what would match and why — so there are no surprises.

"Filter out all emails from that newsletter sender"

"Route any email from @axiomcollege.edu to the Axiom company record"

"Why isn't this email showing up in the customer state context?"

"Show me all the routing rules currently active"

CRM

Customer notes

Log anything about a client

🗒️

Create, read, update, or delete notes against any company in your CRM. Useful when something comes up in a conversation that's worth recording but doesn't fit neatly into a task or email. These notes become part of the customer context the AI uses.

"Add a note to Axiom's record — they're considering the premium plan from Q3"

"What notes do we have on Marcus Webb?"

"Update that note about the pricing discussion — they've now confirmed"

"Remove the old note about the server migration, that's done"

Development

Git

Inspect your app’s code history

📘

eVA can run git commands on any of your apps — check status, view what changed, inspect recent commits, review diffs. Mainly used in development and troubleshooting workflows.

"What's the git status of the CRM app?"

"Show me the last 5 commits on the meetings app"

Vibe Coder — with callback

eVA calls in a developer

eVA can spawn a separate Vibe Coder session to build or fix something in one of your apps, then get notified automatically when it's done. You stay in the same conversation — Vibe Coder works in parallel in its own chat.

Runs in the background — you keep talking, it keeps building

"Ask Vibe Coder to fix the bug we just identified in the campaigns app"

"Get Vibe Coder to add that feature while we keep planning"

This list grows continuously.

Every new integration or capability added to the platform becomes immediately available to eVA in chat — no update required, no new app to open. The tools above are the current set; the next time you ask eVA to do something and it works, it may have just been added.

If eVA can't do something you want, that's usually a signal to add it as a new tool. Tell her what you'd like — she can route the request to Vibe Coder to build it.

Open a chat. Ask eVA.

All of the above is available in any chat session. No settings to configure.
